Trish has over 15 years of experience in accounting having obtained a Chartered Accountant designation in 1997 from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Alberta, a Certified Management Accountant designation in 1994 from the Certified Management Accountants of Alberta, and a Bachelor of Mathematics, Chartered Accountants, Information Systems Co-op in 1992 from the University of Waterloo.
After working in public accounting for 8 years, Trish spent the next 5 years providing consulting services with a large international consulting firm. Trish specializes in process documentation, design, re-design and implementation. She aims to ensure policies and procedures are designed and implemented where they can be most useful to meet the goals of a company.
In addition to being a CA and a CMA, Trish is a Simply Accounting Certified Consultant, a Certified Quickbooks ProAdvisor, an ACT! Certified Consultant and a Microsoft Office Specialist Master Instructor for Office 2000 products.

Lisa Roper, CGA - Manager, Compliance, Central Canada |
Lisa has over 10 years experience in accounting having obtained her CGA in 2005 from the CGA Association of Saskatchewan and a Bachelor of Accounting Science in 2003 from the University of Calgary. Lisa worked in public accounting for 3 years, for the CRA as an auditor for 4 years and has been working in private industry for the last 3 years.
Lisa’s experience with CRA included auditing both income tax and GST in the underground economy (people who typically do not report their business activities at all). Many of these people or companies do not have any books and records available. As a result Lisa has developed a keen ability for auditing “outside” of the records and utilizing professional judgement for assessing risk, materiality and the required course of action.
Lisa is noted for her orderly and detailed approach as well as being decisive, self-reliant and an ability to be diplomatic when dealing with others.

Murtaza has a Bachelor of Commerce, is a Certified Internal Controls Auditor, Certified Financial Consultant and is currently pursuing his Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) designation as well as his CGA designation. Murtaza has over 20 years of international experience in accounting and auditing having working for Ernst & Young for 13 years, and as an internal auditor manager for a large dealership and FMCG restaurant conglomerate for over 7 years, besides holding other internal audit positions in Canada.
Murtaza is noted for his pleasant and confident approach as well as being decisive, self-reliant and having an ability to be diplomatic when dealing with others.

Ashif has over 10 years of experience in accounting and auditing having worked as an Analyst for 4 years, and as a Sr. Analyst, Trust and Regulatory Compliance Officer for over 6 years. He has dealt with regulators and operators in many states and provinces in the family services industry. He also has 5 years of treasury experience from working for one of the largest independent oil company in Western Canada.
Ashif is noted for being thoughtful and cheerful as well as being decisive, self-reliant and resourceful when performing his review requirements.
